Citizens Memorial Hospital Foundation (CMH) is recruiting a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to care for our residents in Citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility

The skilled nursing facility is a 111-bed facility located in Bolivar, MO.

A typical day will include: The opportunity to develop a relationship with our residents and supportive healthcare team. The registered nurse (RN) is an integral part of the healthcare team who is responsible for providing excellent care to the residents in the facility, utilizing strong critical thinking and assessment skills, in accordance with federal and state regulations. The Charge Nurse assigns care duties to nursing personnel consistent with their training and experience. The RN is responsible for safe medication administration, conducting resident assessments, monitoring changes in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and administering treatments and procedures per physician order. The Charge Nurse is part of the interdisciplinary team responsible for facilitating resident admissions and discharges as well as the development of the resident Plan of Care.

This position will provide the wound care for residents and complete rounds with Wound Care Plus every Wednesday. This nurse will also be responsible for wound care notes/documentation and weekly skin assessments. 

The position is full-time, day shift. Monday-Friday 6a-2p. This position will take one weekend on call per month.
