Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term care and medical documentation. Experience with dementia is a plus.
Duties:
- Assist in providing direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and our in-house nurse practitioner.
- Perform basic nursing procedures such as taking vital signs, assisting with personal hygiene, and monitoring patient condition
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Assist in specialized care with individuals with developmental disabilities
Requirements:
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or relevant healthcare certification or willingness to complete CNA course provided by CMH. This is paid training and certification.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
