An Information Analyst at the LCMC provides business process analysis along with information system support and development services in a team-oriented environment. This position is also responsible for continuing self-development along with team planning and leadership as needed and functions with limited supervision. This position also has primary and secondary support responsibilities for numerous other refinery applications, both custom and third party, including numerous complex SQL Server database applications. Occasional weekend duty is also required. The person in this position applies an extensive background of technical expertise along with analysis and an understanding of business and practical requirements to meet the business needs of our users by recommending, creating, and implementing technical solutions to business needs. Additional Job Duties
Providing analysis, making recommendations, and creating solutions regarding improvements in project/systems development, design or implementation
Planning and coordinating project teams and successfully executing projects
Using problem solving skills to determine and develop alternative approaches to highly complex problems
Responding to critical application support issues in a 24x7 environment
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related degree
Minimum 3 years (or 7 years in lieu of degree) of technical development and/or support experience
Analytical and problem solving skills
Experience installing, configuring, and diagnosing complex applications and databases
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Attention to detail
Valid driver’s license required

C# .Net programming experience
Microsoft SQL Server experience
