Central Supply Coordinator
The Waterford Care Center is seeking a Central Supply Coordinator to join the Citadel team. A Central Supply Coordinator plans and directs the procurement of nursing supplies, such as gloves, lifts, scales, beds, mattresses and other medical supplies.
Central Supply Coordinator Essential Job Functions:
- Selects vendors and supplies, researches and evaluates supplies, analyzes price proposals and negotiates contracts.
- Prepares and submits bid proposals and researches new products and equipment.
- Issues supplies to specific staff or departments and ensures that vendors provide appropriate safety sheets and material.
- Maintains a reference of procurement procedures, current standards and regulations, as well as ensure that the appropriate departments are charged for equipment or supplies.
- Helps develop supply budgets, organizes storage areas and supervises the use of supplies in accordance with federal law and company guidelines.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year or more of Central Supply/Ancillary experience preferred
