CIS International is a Livestock Breeder, Wholesale Importer & Distributor of Fresh & Salt Water Live Tropical Fish, Aquatic Wood, Aquatic Plants, Live Rock & any many ornamental fish accessories. We have been in business since 1991 were we started off as a small company supplying local vendors in Jacksonville, Florida but now have growth to supply both local vendor and national wide retail pet stores.

The Quality Inspector role will demonstrate a passion for taking care of fish husbandry, a good work ethic, and attention to detail by maintaining the quality.. The will also perform a variety of husbandry duties including feeding, mortality removal, tank cleaning, and acclimation of new arrivals.

Responsibilities

· Inspecting handling protocols and packing protocols

· Inspecting material quality

· Fish quality identification

· Critical equipment maintenance and record keeping

· Critical inventory management and inception

· Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.

· Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.

· Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.

· Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to the specifications.

· Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.

· Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.

· Teach the production team about quality control concerns to improve product excellence.

· Supervise the production process.

· Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.

Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

· Certification in quality control is preferred.

· A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.

· Excellent knowledge of MS Office.

· Good technical skills.

Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
