Job Summary
The Fleet Manager/Maintenance Controller is responsible for promoting flight safety and providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers. The role requires continuous management of the real-time location and status of the Cirrus Managed Aircraft fleet (Cirrus SR2X and SF50) and developing and implementing a proactive maintenance plan to ensure optimal use of resources and minimize downtime. The Fleet Manager works closely with the Maintenance and Operations teams to ensure that compliance with FAA regulations and company policies is achieved. In addition, the Fleet Manager coordinates with aircraft service centers and vendors to schedule routine and unscheduled maintenance and repairs, maintains accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, and ensures all required documents are maintained in accordance with FARs and Cirrus requirements. The Fleet Manager will also partner with the Schedulers and Dispatchers to facilitate and schedule movement of Cirrus-owned aircraft, leaseback aircraft, and customer aircraft. The role requires the coordination of all aspects of Cirrus demonstrator aircraft and managing AOG maintenance events for the fleet. The Fleet Manager will be available during normal business hours, as well as on call after hours via mobile devices.
