What is this role?
As a Quality Engineering Technician, you will work closely with the Quality and Product team in running new tests to determine product performance, along with qualifying new and existing products. This role is hands-on and will have you setting up different test fixtures and sensors to run tests, measure and record data using predefined test procedures.
What does an average day look like?
Driving Results: Following SOPs to run various tests, ranging from metrology to performance-based testing. Tests can range from pressure/air leak, water flow rate, to force/destructive. Taking Ownership: Help set up novel tests (1st of a kind) and help make adjustments as needed. Identify, collect, and sort samples or products.Making Decisions: Record data and tests results in a clear and consistent manner. Provide improvements in inspection and testing processes.Cultivating Relationships: Assist with the calibration, maintenance and measuring of laboratory equipment. Provide training to new or existing employees.Instilling Trust: Communicate areas for SOP and test improvements.Customer Focus: Monitor and review continuous quality controls. Maintain a clean and well-organized workspace.
