Position: Operations SupervisorLocation: Ardmore, OK

Job Summary:

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising all facets of a manufacturing shift including the inbound and outbound logistics, material handling, sorting, washing, extrusion, and packaging phases of the manufacturing process. The Operations Supervisor leads a team of operators, material handlers and production workers who are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the manufacturing facility. The Operations Supervisor works with the Operations Manager to build a highly performing team and drive operational excellence in the areas of Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery through the development and training of our people. The Operations Supervisor ensures adherence to all safety rules and programs and compliance with all environmental, regulatory, legal and ethical standards. Above all else, the Operations Supervisor is one of the front-line leaders who builds our team and drives our culture.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate shift operations, including production, distribution, and logistics
- Engages employees in active participation to instill a culture of safety and continuous improvement while leading by example.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and streamline processes
- Drives quality performance and improvement to exceed our customer’s expectations.
- Partners with the maintenance department to ensure all equipment, raw materials, vendors, and contractors to ensure adherence to the production schedule and facilitate on-time delivery
- Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to track progress and identify areas for improvement
- Train and provide guidance to staff to ensure they are performing at a high level
- Collaborate with other departments to address issues and drive cross-functional initiative
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulation
- Manage budgets and expenses to maximize profitability
- Evaluate and recommend equipment and technology upgrades to enhance operation

Requirements:
- High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, engineering or a related field preferred
- Proven experience as an Operations Supervisor or similar role
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Solid understanding of operational processes and best practices
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software
- Knowledge of budgeting and cost control principles
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to operate manufacturing and material handling equipment such as forklift, aerial and scissor lifts.
