As our Quality Assurance Engineer, you will lead a team that owns the management and maintenance of our Quality Management System and the underlying documentation, standards, processes, and procedures in order to meet our customer expectations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Own and manage our Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001
• Monitor critical quality metrics that measure non- conformances such as warranties, non-standard repairs and scrap
• Collaborate with Production and Engineering to develop actionable A3/DMAIC improvement plans where appropriate
• Lead the internal audit program
• Manage the Corrective Action Reviews and assure corrective actions
• Facilitate the completion of the annual external ISO 9001 audit.
• Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions
• Draft and implement quality control plans throughout the organization
• Continually train our organization on the principles of our QMS in the context of our core values
• Lead a team of quality technicians and subject matter experts
• Teach the principles of data analysis and statistical methods to the Quality team
• Collaborate with all operational departments to improve our ability to meet our customers’ expectations
• Lead a bi-weekly cross functional Quality Review meeting

You will support and be supported by other department managers as we work together as a team. Communication skills are critical, as you will interact with your colleagues and all departments frequently.  

Qualifications and Skills

• Required Qualifications
  • 10 years of production, manufacturing or quality experience
  • Ability to develop and train your team
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and leverage statistical data
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be part of a collaborative team to identify and implement solutions

• Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar field
  • Management or supervisory experience

Our Expectation
Circuit Board Medics was founded on, and continues to maintain, a 1-Day Turnaround for standard repairs. This nurtures a fast-paced environment that requires a strong sense of urgency. The typical workday is on-site 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
