Local Fuel Delivery Driver ML Energy
SUMMARY:

Primary function is to deliver fuel to customer locations, as dispatched, ensuring the correct gallons and grades are safely loaded and delivered to the correct location(s).

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Safely drive to and from customer locations, as dispatched.
Ensure the correct gallons and grades are safely loaded and delivered to the correct location.
Provide fantastic customer service to our stores and customers.
Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) safety regulations, all loading facility rules, and applicable laws at all times, as well as the ML Energy Transportation Driver Manual.
Maintain, clean, and perform regular inspections of all company-owned and leased equipment.
Maintain the qualifications to drive through mandatory physicals, drug screens, license renewals, and other requirements of the job.
Attend and engage in mandatory safety meetings.
Other duties as assigned.
Pay average $80-100K yearly.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Maintain qualifications to drive as mandated by the Dept of Transportation (DOT).
Thorough understanding of hazardous materials pick-up and delivery procedures.
Understanding of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, with an emphasis on the Hazardous Materials section of the regulations.
Must be able to work day shift, night shift, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to sit (while driving) for extended periods of time.
Must be able to bend, lift, carry, connect, disconnect, mount, and dismount heavy pieces of equipment (i.e. commercial grade fuel hoses) without creating a safety hazard.
Once authorized in the training process, maintain authorization to load and unload product at facilities at which we conduct business.
Must have a valid driver's license, satisfactory MVR, and safe driving record.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Class A commercial driver's license with HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsement. Two years driving experience with a safe record; qualified to drive as outlined under the DOT regulations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, see, hear, and use their hands to drive. They are frequently required to walk, bend, twist, carry and lift heavy pieces of equipment such as commercial grade fuel hoses.
