Circle of Care St. Louis is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Fund Development Intern to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the nonprofit sector, specifically within fundraising and development-related activities. The intern will play a crucial role in supporting our fundraising initiatives, researching and writing grant proposals, and enhancing donor relations and engagement.

Duration: This is a part-time, stipend internship lasting 6 months.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in organizing and conducting fundraising events and campaigns.
• Research potential donors, sponsors, and new grant funding opportunities.
• Support the maintenance and updates of the donor database for accurate records keeping.
• Aid in the grant application process, including preparation and drafting of proposals.
• Develop materials for donor meetings and promotional presentations.
• Engage in brainstorming and planning meetings to propose innovative ideas for donor engagement.
• Create marketing and communication materials for fundraising events.
• Perform administrative duties related to fund development activities as required.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate from a degree program in Nonprofit Management, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in the nonprofit sector with a passion for the mission and goals of Circle of Care St. Louis.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM software is advantageous.
• Availability for flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends for event participation.
