Responsibilities:

- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions with precision
- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and purchases
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Upsell products and promote special offers
- Process returns and exchanges following company policies
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet sales targets

Experience:

- Proficiency in basic math skills
- Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register
- Knowledge of retail math principles for calculating discounts, percentages, etc.
- Previous experience in upselling products is a plus
- Familiarity with food service, food preparation, and food safety regulations is advantageous
- Prior experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred
- Strong sales skills to drive revenue growth

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
