Job Details

Title: Site IT lead

Location: South San Francisco ,CA Onsite /Hybrid (Frequent travel will be involved) travel and stay will be reimbursed.

Purpose

The purpose of the local / regional IT Lead role is to ensure that all IT aspects of the ASPIRE Deployment are taken into consideration, understood and followed. The local / regional IT Lead is responsible to ensure Site IT readiness and all deliverables are followed-up on and completed. This role works closely with Business Local/Site/regionaI Deployment Lead to manage the readiness, preparation and delivery of an ASPIRE deployment project according to the ASPIRE Deployment Framework (activities & deliverables).

Key Responsibilities/Tasks

Ensures Site IT readiness

Ensure site IT readiness

Manage the IT remediation activities, including tracker follow-up and updates/Reporting and execution of activities identified during the assessment

Ownership for the Local System Impact Assessment and its execution

LLT (Long Lead Time Item) identification and realization via required IT sub-projects

Supporting the data remediation identification with business

Ensures local deployment plan includes all relevant technical and application elements and is resourced accordingly

Mobilizes resource (incl. third party) as required

Leads design, build, test of the legacy system remediation work

Acts as site primary point of contact to the IT project team and IT BP

Becomes a change agent for Aspire, Coaches, motivates and leads people through the change

Manages interdependencies and synergies between different countries within the region

Accountable for site/affiliate execution including Local budgeting & local schedule execution

Local schedule execution

Evaluation of impact on downtime schedule align with other site projects Identify and manage roll-out risks within the regional area of responsibility

Manages the local IT template deployment:

Leading the data remediation identification and support

Ensures local deployment plan includes all relevant technical, validation and application elements and is resourced accordingly Mobilizes resource (incl. third party) as required

Manages the local IT template deployment

Facilitates and remediates local hardware and instances to support Aspire needs Partners with the ASPIRE core team to mobilize the required budget and resources for the deployment activities

Supports decommission/archive/retrieval as required Data extract/transfer support support key-users/super-users on-site hyper-care

Works closely with local/regional business cutover to ensure integrated cutover plan and clear responsibilities for all local legacy technical elements. Also ensures these elements are executed for test phases as required to create integrated environments Supports testing, drive execution, incl. localization, testing, and IJAT (builds, qualifies and reports the environments for each test phase and cutover)

Supports data remediation and data cleansing (plans - automated, manual etc)

Supports local interfaces and systems

Key contacts and communicates with:

ASPIRE Deployment Lead and SPOC / Main Functional contacts

Site System Application Owner and Business Process Owner, IT BP and PTIX Network

ASPIRE Core & Regional Project Manager - PMO- (business and IT)

ASPIRE Cutover Lead Third party vendors

Manage key regional and local stakeholders Requirements

Education

University degree / PhD (informatics, engineering or similar)

Experience

Minimum 7 years experience in similar roles

Experience in leading complex projects, programs and initiatives to implement IT projects

Extensive knowledge of IT, automation, operations and quality business processes

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

Full understanding of the global pharmaceutical industry and broader

Excellent knowledge in manufacturing / production, IT and quality

Understanding of the Roche business and its key processes

Extensive knowledge of IT, automation, operations and quality business processes Strategic and conceptual thinking

Focus on delivery

Ability to inspire and influence

Proven matrix leader skills

Working experience in different pharma companies and across different cultures / countries

Extensive project management experience and advanced certification in project management

Extensive change management experience

Excellent communication skills

Be able to influence at all levels

Has 5 years experience working within a global environment in the pharmaceutical industry and are excellent knowledge of the regulatory requirements surrounding this field, particularly GMP.

Has experience of working with senior level partners in global work streams within projects in a matrixed environment leading without authority across multiple stakeholders and managing several tasks at once.

Willing to stretch beyond your comfort zone to learn new skills in a rapidly changing environment and have the ability to build and maintain business relationships.
