Description

Ciocca Automotive, a prominent automotive company recently relocated to York County, is dedicated to cultivating a positive workplace environment and offering competitive compensation and benefits packages to our employees. 

We are currently seeking a talented Payroll and Benefits Manager to become a part of our team. The selected individual will be responsible for supervising all facets of payroll processing and administration, while also overseeing employee benefits programs. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in payroll management, a solid understanding of benefits administration, and exceptional attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing:

· Manage and process bi-weekly and monthly bonus payroll for all employees accurately and in a timely manner.

· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding payroll taxes, wage and hour laws, and other related requirements.

· Review and reconcile payroll data, including timecards, deductions, bonuses, and commissions.

· Address any payroll discrepancies or issues promptly and effectively.

Benefits Administration:

· Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee voluntary benefits.

· Coordinate open enrollment periods and provide guidance to employees on benefit options.

· Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits-related inquiries and issues.

· Work closely with benefits vendors and brokers to ensure the smooth administration of benefits programs.

Compliance and Reporting:

· Stay up to date on changes in payroll and benefits regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

· Review and approve required payroll tax returns and reports, including W-2s and 1099s.

· Generate regular reports on payroll and benefits metrics for management review.

Process Improvement:

· Identify opportunities for process improvements in payroll and benefits administration and implement necessary changes.

· Streamline payroll processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

· Minimum of ten years of experience in payroll administration, with demonstrated proficiency in payroll processing and compliance.

· Experience in BSwift benefits administration platform preferred.

· Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll and benefits regulations.

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion.

· Proficiency in Paylocity payroll software, Reynolds & Reynolds, Excel, and Microsoft Office suite.

· Excellent communication and people skills.
