As part of our dedicated HR team, the Payroll Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our valued employees.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Administrator to join our family. The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and providing excellent customer service to our employees regarding payroll-related inquiries. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Paylocity, our payroll processing software.

Job Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing:

· Collect and review timekeeping information for accuracy and completeness.

· Process payroll for hourly and salaried employees on a bi-weekly basis.

· Calculate wages, deductions, overtime, and bonuses accurately.

· Verify and reconcile payroll data before finalizing payroll runs.

· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.

Payroll Administration:

· Maintain employee payroll records and ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

· Process new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status accurately and in a timely manner.

· Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as needed.

· Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters promptly and professionally.

· Assist with payroll-related audits and compliance reviews.

Benefits Administration Support:

· Collaborate with the HR team to ensure accurate administration of employee benefits, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits.

· Assist employees with questions or issues related to their benefits enrollment or deductions.

Process Improvement:

· Identify opportunities for process improvements in payroll administration and suggest solutions to streamline processes and increase efficiency.

· Stay informed about changes in payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

· Minimum of five years of experience in payroll administration or related field.

· Proficiency in Paylocity payroll processing software and Microsoft Excel.

· Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations.

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and oversee sensitive information with discretion.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
