Salary:

The position involves the on-site management of commercial construction projects ranging in cost from $500,000 to $10M. Projects are generally in the Greater Cincinnati / Tri-State Area. Periodic regional travel to project sites may be required. The position requires working from the main office in Cincinnati, OH.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Project planning / scheduling.
  • Project Leadership, control, and documentation
  • Project cost control, cost tracking, and budgeting
  • Material purchasing / negotiating
  • Subcontractor / supplier solicitation
  • Quantity take-offs
  • Contracts and Purchase Orders
  • Shop Drawing review and material submittal processing
  • Chairing project meetings and producing minutes
  • Daily progress and monitoring of projects along with management of site superintendents and subcontractors / suppliers.
  • Invoice and time sheet review / approval.

Ideal Requirements:

  • Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years in the commercial construction industry.
  • Preferred four year degree in construction management or civil/mechanical engineering.
  • Candidate should excel in working collaboratively with clients, subcontractors, architects, local building authorities, and other professionals.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Knowledge with Procore preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong leadership ability.
