Cinemascape is Hiring a Commercial Low-Voltage Estimator/Project Manager Near Scottsdale, AZ

Cinemascape (Smart AV LLC) is a family owned and run business since 2000 and is located in Scottsdale, Arizona. We are looking to hire career-minded, experienced and a qualified Commercial Low-Voltage Estimator/Project Manager for immediate employment. Our team installs high-end custom audio/video and home automation system and networks in both the residential and commercial markets throughout Arizona focusing on Phoenix, Scottsdale and Paradise Valley, Arizona. We sell, service and install, Crestron, Control4, SAVANT, Araknis, JBL Synthesis, Kaleidescape, Planar and Sony products to name a few. We support and install over 500 brands.

Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Commercial Project Manager / Estimator with at least 3 years of Low-Voltage Estimating/Project Management experience in the Commercial Low-Voltage A/V and Automation industry who holds a demonstrated history of successfully closing, managing and coordinating commercial low-voltage construction projects. As an integral part of our team, you will submit estimates, lead and manage our commercial low-voltage construction projects, ensuring their efficient and effective completion. If you have the vision, leadership skills, and organizational capabilities to close and oversee commercial low-voltage projects of different sizes and complexities, we want to hear from you.

Our ideal candidate:

  • At least 3 years of previous work experience as an Estimator or in a similar role.
  • Must be highly proficient in low-voltage estimating and take-off software.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints
  • Excellent knowledge of industry materials, equipment, and installation methods
  • Must have documented success in financial sales in the residential, commercial, public and private sectors.
  • OSHA Certification is a Plus.
  • Highly organized and proven problem-solver
  • Ability to work under pressure.

  • Able to plan ahead and anticipate future challenges
  • Is an outstanding communicator – educating clients about Cinemascape’s various Low-Voltage services offerings, persuasively articulating costs, savings and partnership opportunities.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

Responsibilities as a Low-Voltage Estimator:

  • Submit Low-Voltage bids within a timely manner using company provided take-off software.
  • Reading and understanding blueprints.
  • Ensuring project timelines and budgets are being met or exceeded.
  • On-site team project management.
  • Collaborating with diverse project partners, including architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Develop and execute project plans, budgets, and timelines.
  • Managing project scope, resources, and quality control.
  • Work directly with office management on team scheduling and equipment ordering.
  • Ensure project compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base
  • Develops system-related solutions for the customer’s challenges and opportunities, including financial and performance-based considerations.
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify new business opportunities
  • Develops multiple relationships with buying influencers and critical decision makers in the customer’s organization, including facility managers, project managers, project engineers, purchasing, legal, and finance officers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, providing exceptional account management.
  • Develops, maintains, and represents Cinemascape in the marketplace(s) with associations and legislative groups.
  • Converts leads into opportunities by qualifying the customer and assigning the appropriate sales process, identifying the required sales team members, making assignments, and communicating the next steps in the process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project implementation
  • Determines project needs, constraints, and responsibilities to meet all of the customer's outcome and infrastructure requirements.
  • Prepares, finalizes, and reviews preliminary and/or final proposal complete with any financially targeted sales tools.
  • Prepares and reviews contract terms and conditions.
