Cincy at the Well is Hiring a Program Director Near Covington, KY

Requirements/ Qualifications

Your primary role as Program Director is to carry out the mission and vision of Cincy at the Well while advancing the gospel of Jesus Christ. This should be the lens in which you view all of your other roles and responsibilities.

This position is a full-time Program Director position which provides a full range of moderate to complex work assignments in support of the ministry outreach and ongoing programs. This position reports directly to the Executive Director but interacts closely with staff, volunteers, donors, and ladies in Cincy at the Well programs. Work often requires active problem solving and effective interpersonal skills. Some early morning, evening and weekend work is required.

  • Experience in nonprofits, fundraising, and/or ministry.

  • Experience with grant writing and implementation.

Must be proficient in the following areas:

  • Excellent record keeping and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated and driven.
  • Ability to manage time and complete assigned tasks without continual supervision.
  • Ability to delegate tasks to others when appropriate.
  • Ability to maintain peace with others and initiate conflict resolution when needed.
  • Experience with the following technology:

Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
Instagram and Facebook

Preferred Skill Set:

  • Education, training, and expertise in best practice standards and implementation of case management.
  • Experience with the following technology is preferred:

CRM (Customer Relations Management) System (e.g. Givebutter)
Mailchimp
Canva

Physical Job Requirements

  • Able to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • The ability to lift 25/50/80 pounds regularly.

Roles and Responsibilities

Top priorities

  • Oversee current & new development of outreach efforts.
  • Work with the Executive Director (ED) to execute essential ministry functions.
  • Coordinate on-site activities and programs at the Resource Center when it opens; prior to the opening of the physical center, coordination of off-site activities and programs will be required.

Within this role, you will be responsible for coordinating essential ministry functions for our programs, including but not limited to:

1. Leading the Outreach Program

  • Volunteers: Volunteer coordination for outreach and programs, including reviewing applications, leading training sessions, mentoring new volunteers, and the ongoing care and development of volunteers.
  • After Care: Caring for the women within our programs and coordinating resources when appropriate.
  • Record Keeping: Keep all records up to date for our outreach program.
  • Participation: Participate in all weekly outreach activities and programs, unless otherwise agreed upon with ED, including but not limited to weekly strip club outreach, weekly street outreach, crisis response team, and special events held for the women.

2. Develop and Maintain Community Partnerships & Resources

  • Developing resource partnerships, and maintaining partnerships in the community that provide resources for the women.
  • Assist ED in maintaining relationships with partner organizations and ensuring that all partner information is up-to-date in our internal databases.
  • Communicate with partners via phone, email and/or newsletter and ensure that thank you letters are being mailed when a partner is utilized.

3. Develop and Lead Programming for the Women

  • The Program Director will coordinate the essential functions of our programs. This will include volunteer coordination, leading programming, and follow-up with the women we serve. Example responsibilities include:
  • Coordinating events that help bring women in the industry into our community.
  • Leading the development and implementation of a program to assist women who are still in the industry or who need additional support.

4. Assist Executive Director with Essential Functions for Ministry

  • You will be responsible for assisting with other essential functions of the ministry to ensure that our programs can continue. This will include a variety of tasks and responsibilities, including but not limited to:

Donor management
Fundraising planning and execution alongside ED
Attending meetings with ED, following up with tasks
Attend church partner services with ED when speaking engagements are scheduled and follow up with interested volunteers
Assist with social media accounts as needed

There will be miscellaneous tasks and responsibilities that may be designated to you during your role as Program Director. It is your job to prioritize and focus on what’s most important and delegate each task or responsibility that you can. We will continue to evaluate and direct your responsibilities as we grow and develop Cincy at the Well. Flexibility is key.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
