Cincinnati Children's Hospital is Hiring a Safety Consultant (Research) Near Cincinnati, OH
Expected Starting Salary Range: 41.10 - 63.45
SUBFUNCTION DEFINITION: Conducts safety audits of buildings, facilities, tools and equipment. Determines safety training requirements and provides employees with safety training applicable to their work processes. Investigates accidents to determine the root cause, circumstances and contributing factors. Develops recommendations and follow-up to prevent accident recurrence. Maintains comprehensive knowledge of government safety regulations.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 5 - 7 years of work experience in a related job discipline to include:

- Familiarity in research/ animal work
- Experience with chemicals/chemical safety
