Certified Child Life Specialist for Emergency Department
40 hours/week, Nights Shifts

The Child Life Specialists at Cincinnati Children's are committed to the practice of family-centered care by promoting play, education, developmental and psychosocial support. We are an integral part of the health care team who can support the child's outpatient visit and inpatient stay. Child Life Specialists can minimize stress and maximize coping of patients and families.
We are recruiting for a Certified Child Life Specialist for the Emergency Department. This position is 40 hours per week on Nights. The schedule will rotate:
Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday 7pm-7:30am, Friday, Saturday 9pm-7:30am
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 7pm-7:30am,
This position will work 2-3 holidays per year.
Qualifications: To be considered, candidates will have a Bachelor degree in a related field, and completion of child life internship under the supervision of a certified CLS. Must be certified as a Child Life Specialist within one year of hire.
Pay: $47,403.20-$57,761.60 annually $4.00/hour shift differential and $5.00/hour weekend differential

Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 0 - 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline
• Completion of child life internship under the supervision of a certified CLS
• CCLS within one year of hire
