Cincinnati Children's Hospital is Hiring an Application Analyst I Near Cincinnati, OH

Description:
Expected Starting Salary Range: 24.68 - 30.29
SUBFUNCTION DEFINITION:
Join our dynamic Translational Core Laboratory team as an Application Analyst, where you'll be leveraging technology to support the advancement of our clinical research and cGMP manufacturing processes for cell and gene therapies.
Our services encompass:
  • cGMP viral vector manufacturing (lentiviral and retroviral vectors)
  • cGMP / GTP cell processing (HSC and T-cell)
  • cGMP and CAP / CLIA testing (product release and patient follow-up)
  • Normal donor products
  • Research viral vectors (lenti, retro, and adeno-associated)
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Application Analyst, you will utilize your information systems background and technical expertise to drive the advancement of research and clinical trial initiatives for cell and gene therapies. You will take on a strategic and impactful role working collaboratively within the team, taking on a range of assignments related to new user training, system updates, and maintenance. You'll have the opportunity to lead projects driving the expansion of cGMP information system tools, technical support, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
Acknowledging the distinctiveness of each project, our team of scientists and regulatory professionals collaborates closely with sponsors to identify and resolve technical and regulatory challenges in a timely and cost-effective manner. Our commitment is to facilitate the swift progression of projects into active clinical trials.
*** Please note that this role will be on-site as part of our commitment to fostering collaboration and ensuring a dynamic work environment. While remote work may be considered in the future, the current expectation is for on-site presence. ***
  • Manage Customer/Vendor Relationships: Establish and nurture positive relationships.
  • Analysis: Address system-related requests from the department/division, maintain an issues log and troubleshooting guide, document issue resolutions, and collaborate with the department/division to comprehend reporting needs. Prepare statistical summaries and reports, develop reports efficiently using various tools, and run reports as required. May oversee maintenance of department/division website.
  • Technical Support: Act as a liaison between the department and Information Services. Participate in executing test scripts to validate system implementations and modifications. May oversee system data and tables maintenance.
  • Design and Development: Support technical solutions aimed at enhancing department/division efficiency. Understand the downstream impact of technological changes. Assist in preparing user documentation for department/division systems, including training manuals. Provide and facilitate training as necessary.
  • Process Improvement: Document business processes and enhance department/division processes and software efficiency.
Qualifications:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3 years of work experience in a related job discipline
Preferred
  • Experience with cGMP related technology, Quality Management Systems, and cGMP documentation.
