Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our team. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting potential tenants with finding and leasing properties, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of the leasing process. Responsibilities: - Greet and assist prospective tenants in a professional and friendly manner - Conduct property tours to showcase available units and amenities - Respond to inquiries regarding property features, rental rates, lease terms, and application processes - Process rental applications, conduct background checks, and verify income and rental history - Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required documents are completed accurately - Collect security deposits and rental payments from tenants - Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including inspections and key exchanges - Address tenant concerns or maintenance requests promptly and ensure timely resolution - Maintain accurate records of leasing activities using file management systems (e.g., CMMS, Yardi) - Stay up-to-date on market trends, rental rates, and competitors in the area Experience: - Previous experience in property management or leasing is preferred - Familiarity with Section 8 housing programs is a plus - Proficient in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) - Knowledge of fair housing regulations and practices - Excellent communication skills with a professional phone etiquette - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team We offer competitive compensation along with opportunities for career growth within our organization.
