As a Medical Assistant at Cienega Med Spa, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within our medical spa. Your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Patient Care:

- Greeting and escorting patients to treatment rooms.

- Assisting with patient intake processes, including medical history documentation and consent forms.

- Preparing patients for treatments and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout.

- Providing post-procedure care instructions and addressing any patient concerns or questions.

2. Clinical Support:

- Assisting medical practitioners during procedures and treatments, including but not limited to vitamin therapy, IV Therapy, injections, laser treatments, and skincare procedures.

- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.

- Sterilizing and maintaining medical equipment and instruments.

- Stocking and replenishing medical supplies as needed.

3. Administrative Duties:

- Scheduling patient appointments and managing the appointment calendar.

- Handling phone inquiries and directing them to the appropriate staff members.

- Managing patient records and ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

- Assisting with insurance-related tasks, as needed.

4. Team Collaboration:

- Collaborating effectively with other staff members, including medical practitioners, aestheticians, and administrative staff, to provide cohesive patient care and ensure efficient clinic operations.

- Participating in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on new procedures, protocols, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program preferred.

- Certification as a medical assistant (CMA) or registered medical assistant (RMA) is desirable.

- Prior experience in a medical setting, particularly in dermatology, plastic surgery, or medical aesthetics, is advantageous.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.

- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.
