Do you have a STRONG background in billing for skilled nursing facilities? If you have experience in billing including Medicare, Medicaid and Insurance, we'd love to talk with you!

As part of the billing team, you will:

• Transmit all appropriate electronic claims to the state of Michigan for processing. Correct any errors on claims and re-transmit as needed
• Post all Electronic Remittance
• Discuss outstanding amounts with Supervisor
• Provide Corporate Support for several nursing facilities
• Submit electronic claims of Medicaid, Medicaid Therapy, and Medicare A coinsurance to Medicaid
• Keying and correction of claims on-line, demand bills and no pay bills

For success in this role, you have:

• Experience with UB04 billing
• Experience with Medicaid, Medicaid coinsurance billing
• Experience posting payments, working rejections, working denials, working aging accounts receivable, running and analyzing reports
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and professional
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. 
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, some college or technical training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in A/R capacity in the long term care setting is preferred.
