Chapman University is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position. This range takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Summer research assistants will work on summer research projects related to the SlicerCloud Grant and the FHL Fish Class. They will also conduct their own independent research and maintain their writing goals. RAs will be required to help (and occasionally lead) collecting trips around San Juan Island. They will also be expected to help maintain and teach undergraduate and graduate students how to use equipment in the Fish Lab.
