To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com What You’ll Be Doing Join our Global Markets team in New York as a Summer Analyst and become part of a team focused on delivering innovative banking and investment solutions to CIBC’s corporate, government, and institutional clients around the world. Our Global Markets business comprises our sales, trading, structuring and research teams spanning cash and derivative products in foreign exchange, commodities, rates and equities in addition to securitization, prime brokerage, money markets and more. CIBC Summer Analyst program in the U.S. is twelve weeks long. Analysts are assigned to two six-weeks placements in sales or trading roles within the trading floor businesses of CIBC's wholesale bank. During the course of the program, which includes orientation and summer-long training, you will develop a comprehensive view of our Global Markets businesses and familiarity with key asset classes, product categories, client types, and job functions. You will be provided the opportunity to gain experience in one or more of the following areas: Commodities Foreign Exchange Interest Rates Fixed Income/CLOs/Money Markets Growth Markets Equities and Equity Derivatives Securitization Electronic Trading Prime Services Important information You are enrolled in an undergraduate degree in a Business related discipline including Economics, Finance or related at the time of the internship Expected graduation date of December 2025 – June 2026 Applications should include your resume. Communication – Partner with your team to make an impact by applying a technical skillset to help generate insights and/or optimize processes. Showcase highly effective written, oral and presentation skills with an ability to explain complex concepts. At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $105,000 - $115,000 for the New York, NY market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
