Hi, is Verónica from CI&T!I am a Talent Attracting Analyst looking for people located in Brazil for a Google - Cloud Backend Software Engineer position to join us!

Context:

We are looking for a Cloud Backend Software engineer to contribute to the migration and test automation of Google Cloud Platform Organization Policies and development of Security detectors.

Development work can take place on open source projects or internal to the customer.

This engineer will evaluate policies and requirements. Review all the existing policies and understand their purpose and requirements. Helping on assigning a complexity level for each one and building cloud security posture management products and solutions proactively assessing vulnerability and threat information and providing a rich context with actionable information that aids in the triage and remediation of security incidents. In addition, this team develops terraform blueprints with cloud security best practices that are used by the largest companies around the world.

Set up a test environment and define the test automation strategy, creating automated tests for existing and new policies to ensure correctness and accuracy.

Background, skills and experience:

Solid background in Java and Python development;

Good experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services or similar Cloud Platforms;

Being able to communicate in english (CEFR B2);

Have great ability to understand and develop demands with autonomy from few requirements, showing results and progress continuously;

Ability to test, investigate, analyze, solve and communicate problems;

Propose and discuss solutions, and incorporate received feedback;

Being able to automate and optimize development tasks;

Enjoy to quickly learn (and use) different technologies from those you already know.

Additional experiences:

Have development experience with other languages, for example Java, Node JS or Go;

Have notions of “Organization Policy Service (ORG)” and “Common Expression Language (CEL)”;

Have experience on migration policies formats;

Hold GCP certifications;

Being able to communicate in english (CEFR C1 ).
