At the core of the company is compassion and appreciation for our members and co-workersPerform reactive and preventive work on fitness and facilities equipment.Work within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to receive, create, monitor, and complete WOs for both self-performing duties and outsourced contractor services.Use knowledge of the CMMS system to run reports etc. Maintain deadlines for assigned tasksWork both in a stationary maintenance environment and a service team environmentCommunicate with the facilities team and operations personnel daily to manage and balance both our customer-facing systems and the infrastructure that is as equally important but not as obviousReview and approve work completed by contractorsPerform routine inspections of the properties (rounds) and complete documentationUse and understanding of BMS / EMS control systemsAdministrativeAttend routine maintenance meetingsReview of contractor pricingUpdating service requests regularly through CMMSReview of property operations via a Building Management SystemManage inventory of equipment, parts, and suppliesClock in and out accuratelyWorking within budget guidelinesQualificationsIdeally, you will have:High school diploma or GED (minimum)2 years of experience in an MEP trade or as a journeyman building engineer required. Or, a technical school graduate coupled with a minimum of 1 year of journey-person trade experience.Working knowledge of commercial HVAC, Electrical, Lighting and Plumbing systemsExperienced in the use of specialized equipment and tools within the tradesAble to read blueprints and schematicsAbility to troubleshoot to the component level mechanically and electricallyGood communication, time management, organization, and follow-up skillsComputer literacyAbility to train othersDaily reliable transportation with the ability to travel between properties if needed with little or no prior noticePhysical Requirements:Able to read, write and speak clearlyBending, sitting, standing, use of ladders, roof access requiredStanding for long periodsTyping and computer operationsAbility to lift at least 50lbsAdditional InformationChuze Fitness is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
