Job Description: As a Team Member at our ice cream shop, you will play a key role in creating a positive and memorable experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Taking Customer Orders: Greet customers with a friendly smile, provide excellent customer service, and efficiently take and process customer orders.
• Scooping Ice Cream: Skillfully scoop and serve our delicious ice cream flavors, ensuring each serving is presented with care and attention to detail.
• Handling Hot items: Responsible for making espressos, teaspressos, affogatos, hot chocolate, and croffles.
• Restocking: Assist in maintaining inventory, restocking ice cream, waffle batter, supplies, and merchandise as needed.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the serving area, kitchen, and equipment clean and sanitized to meet health and safety standards.
• Cash Handling: Accurately handle cash transactions, operate the cash register, and provide customers with correct change.

Requirements:

• Friendly and approachable demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to perform various tasks, including taking orders, scooping ice cream, and assisting in ice cream production.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
• Willingness to obtain food handler's permit and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
• Team player mentality with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift Heavy objects
• Food handlers certificate (not required to start, we can cover the cost of the course)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.96 - $16.76 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
