Churchome Kids Coordinator

ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Churchome Kids Coordinator will encourage, resource, train and coordinate all Churchome Kids Experience volunteers, making it possible for us to tell the story of Jesus to the world. Focused on creating community among the volunteer host teams, this strategic thinker will foster an environment where leadership development is a priority and volunteers are equipped to be leaders in their community.
The Churchome Kids Coordinator must be a forward-focused, team player with a faith-filled attitude. The role reports to the Churchome Kids Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Gather, equip and empower new Churchome Kids Experience Volunteers
Lead well-organized, dynamic, and fun experiences with effective communication and strong leadership resulting in consistent growth in Churchome Kids Birth-5th Grade
Collaborate with the Churchome Kids team to create a comprehensive and well-curated set of processes, resources, training and tools for volunteers to develop as leaders
Implement the CK Experience Toolkit that contains: worship, games, activities, crafts, best friend time, videos, slides, music etc.
Coordinate event set up and tear down
Volunteers
Recruit and schedule of volunteers to serve in classrooms
Develop volunteers through training and building relationships
Obtain feedback from kids and families
Assist the CK Team in hosting Digital Kids Weekly Service as needed
Churchome may also assign other duties or responsibilities, in its sole discretion
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience:
Combination of education and experience
3 years of relevant work experience
Proven experience working with children
Knowledge/Skills:
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Strong relationally and the ability to influence and be involved with training and equipping volunteers
