We are currently seeking a Next Gen Middle School Leader for - hours / week (depending on the applicant) to join our church family.

Summary : The NextGen Middle School Leader will have an emphasis on the students of Third Church. The overall purpose is to disciple students as they connect to God, grow in Word and Spirit and serve the church and the world.

Key responsibilities include partnering with the NextGen High School Team Leader to align Third’s ministry vision and strategy, overseeing and scheduling ministry activities, managing the daily operational elements and equipping both staff and volunteers while serving on the NextGen Ministry Team.

Requirements :

• Exhibits a solid, vibrant faith in Jesus Christ.
• Ability to maintain the utmost level of confidentiality and integrity.
• Is committed to the mission, values, and vision of Third Church.
• BA in education or youth ministry, preferred; and / or a minimum of 2 years of successful experience in job-related field.
• Oversee leading ministry to 6th-8th grade students.
• Develop an ongoing comprehensive philosophy of ministry for youth that is consistent with Third’s strategy, vision and core values.
• Be a regular participant in the teaching schedule of 6th-th grade.
• Engage relationships with middle school students and families.
• Be able to recruit, equip and support a variety of volunteers.
• Provide oversight for Student Mission Trips. This includes, but is not limited to, scheduling, fundraising, equipping and attending various opportunities.
• Develop yearly ministry and event calendars for 6th-th grade.
