The fast food shift leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a fast food restaurant during their designated shift. They ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently, customers are satisfied, and team members adhere to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Supervision: Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during the shift.
• Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained at all times. Address customer inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally.
• Team Management: Assign duties and responsibilities to team members, ensuring optimal staffing levels to meet operational demands.
• Training and Development: Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and job responsibilities. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members to enhance performance.
• Quality Control: Monitor food preparation, portion sizes, and food presentation to maintain quality standards. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and ordering of supplies to ensure adequate stock levels. Monitor and control food waste to minimize costs.
• Cash Handling: Responsible for cash handling procedures, including opening and closing cash registers, processing payments, and reconciling cash drawers.
• Shift Reporting: Prepare shift reports documenting sales, inventory usage, and any incidents or issues that occurred during the shift. Communicate important information to management and team members.
• Adherence to Policies: Enforce company policies and procedures regarding food safety, cleanliness, and employee conduct. Ensure compliance with all local health and safety regulations.
• Problem Solving: Address any operational challenges or issues that arise during the shift, finding effective solutions to minimize disruptions and maintain customer satisfaction.

Pay: $22,880.00 - $27,040.00 per year
