Job Summary

This position is expected to work 20 hours weekly.

The Technical Producer directly oversees and provides technical production support for the ministries at the location and online by leading the execution of technical components of weekend worship and mid-week events, including, but not limited to, audio, lighting, graphics, video, staging and the maintenance of production gear and equipment.

Position-Specific 

• Coordinates with Tech Producers across the church’s locations to ensure consistent excellence in implementation of the church’s audio, visual and lighting resources to achieve the church’s purpose.
• Works with the Location Pastor and Worship Leader to plan for the design, preparation and execution for all worship services and production-supported events.
• Recruits, trains, mentors, and empowers technical production volunteers for mid-week and weekend events. 
• Provides audio support for worship services, music rehearsals and other events. 
• Provides for technical production support for online broadcast production, as needed.
• Coordinates the playback of all video and graphic elements. 
• Oversees implementation of theatrical lighting design, stage and set design and visual elements. 
• Directly manages setting and striking of the stage including, audio cables, monitors, microphones, stands, direct boxes, instruments, etc.
• Manages ongoing repair, maintenance, and replacement of production equipment at the location.
• Recommends audio, visual, lighting and staging capital improvements for budgetary consideration.
• Supports production efforts across any of the church's locations, when directed.

Qualifications 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Pro Presenter and Adobe Photoshop
• Experience mixing Front of House audio consoles; working directly in the main areas of technical production, including Video/Audio/Lighting/Graphics/Staging; leading, organizing and motivating groups of people; and clearly communicating logistical and technical information in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of digital audio consoles, IEMs, and RF signal management.
• Physical requirements: must be able to lift objects weighing 50 pounds regularly
