The Church in the Highlands ECC is looking for an energetic, nurturing and supportive individual who will assist the head teacher in creating a welcoming and safe learning environment for our students.

Our Early Childhood Center offers a charming facility that has prospered for over 50 years and operates as a team to provide the best education for our students.

Job responsibilities include:

• Providing supervision and caring for the children at all times
• Flexible and willing to assist the teacher and students meeting all needs
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Preparing the classroom for arrival and dismissal as well as daily activities
• Participate in professional development training to maintain best practice in the classroom
• Reliable and committed to coming to work from September to the 3rd week in July
• Must be willing to be fingerprinted and participate in a complete background check through the Office of Child and Family Services

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Grade levels:

• Pre-Kindergarten

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
