The role of the Subject Matter Expert V is to provide specific NIWC technical support for various projects within the Chesapeake Ops environment. Occasional travel required.

• Provides day-to-day ISEA support to NIWC and other activities on multiple projects.
• Provides support to Fleet activities.
• Works with customer in primarily a solitary environment.
• Performs related work as assigned in an unsupervised, reactive/mission critical environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Manage onsite shipboard installation teams.
• Manage changes to project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Promote and maintain communication between the project team and project sponsor, and other relevant stakeholders.

• Thirteen (13) years' technical experience in military, contracting, or commercial areas.
• Must have one (1) years' experience in electronic systems troubleshooting and repair.
• Ten (10) years of proven shipboard supervisory experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
