The Corrosion Control Technician will provide and coordinate a consistent Corrosion Prevention and Control policy. Responsibilities Essential Duties & Job Functions: Develops, documents, and maintains the Corrosion Prevention and Control Plan. Coordinates and documents material selection guidelines for corrosion protection/avoidance. Coordinates the documentation of corrosion design guidelines. Coordinates Corrosion Prevention policies and procedures with policies and practices. 
Reviews corrosion test results for process/finish material qualifications. Establishes corrosion test requirements for procured items. Establishes and maintains team-common process/finish requirements. Resolves any impasse in determining the preferred process/treatment method for corrosion control at site. Maintains a log of problems, action items, corrective actions, and status. Coordinates and interfaces with government program office. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Mandatory: Must have and maintain a Senior Corrosion Technologist certification from the National Association of Corrosion Engineers. Ability to acquire and maintain government identification/common access card. Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations. Valid state Driver’s License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position. Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.
