Job Description We currently have a
Commercial Insurance Technology Renewal Underwriter opening.
This position supports the regional sales and production branches & Chubb Commercial Insurance underwriting goals related to profit, customer service and producer relationships.
The Underwriter will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating Technology renewal accounts in accordance with established underwriting guidelines. The Underwriter will manage a book of renewal business based on established criteria. The candidate must be able to work effectively and collaborate with a team of renewal underwriters, production underwriters, claims and risk engineering as needed.
Qualifications - Proven ability to successfully negotiate on all levels and develop relationships with agents and brokers.
- Demonstrate ability to analyze risks, prioritize the gathering of underwriting data, and clearly communicate underwriting approach.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills required.
- Ability to work independently, show initiative, while demonstrating strong collaboration skills in a team environment.
- Strong time and desk management skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Education& Experience: - 2 - 5 years of commercial insurance underwriting experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
The pay range for the role is $60,000 to $99,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found on our careers website. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
