Company DescriptionChubb now has an exciting opportunity for an accredited (IFE or IFSM) Fire Risk Assessment Manager / Validation Manager to join our dedicated Fire Consultancy division on a full time, permanent and remote working basis.This is a Remote / Home based opportunity, however travel throughout the UK will be required.Job DescriptionWhat Will I Be Doing As a Fire Risk Assessment Manager?The main goal of this role is to create and maintain quality procedures in order to pave the way to achieving and maintaining SP205 accreditation, along with ensuring that the department maintains an excellent reputation for quality delivery to the end user.Create and maintain quality procedures in order to pave the way to achieving and maintaining SP205 accreditation.Recruit Risk Assessors and validate capabilities.Mentor new Risk Assessors in the field, to ensure that all competencies are reached, in order to fulfil the FRA role.Review and maintain related Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) documentation and web-based content.Provide technical FRA support to the whole teamAction any customer queries in relation to technical aspectsManage the competency matrix for Assessors in relation to qualifications and abilityTechnical validating of FRA reports and calculation checks on occupancy reportsProvide support & guidance to the wider team of Assessors.Build strong, credible relationships both with internal & external customers in person and via media/telephone chanelsQualificationsWhat We Would Like You To Bring To be considered for this position you will hold accreditations with IFE or IFSM and direct, extensive demonstratable experience in completing Fire Risk AssessmentsYou will be up to date with fire legislationBe able to support us in paving the way to achieving an SP205 accreditationPrevious experience of recruiting and interviewingBe a strong AdministratorAble to multitask and prioritise workloadPossess excellent communication (verbal and written) skillsBe used to working on own initiative and within a team environmentHold a current UK driving licenceAdditional InformationAbout Us, Our Culture & What We Can Offer YouChubb Fire & Security have been protecting people and assets worldwide for more than 200 years. Providing essential and innovative security systems, equipment and services, from digital CCTV surveillance and intruder alarms to fire detection and suppression systems.
