Job Title: Operations Manager - CBD Product Manufacturing

As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee our manufacturing processes and drive operational excellence.

Position Overview: As the Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process, from sourcing raw materials to final product distribution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, preferably within the CBD or pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record of leading successful manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Production Management: Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, including production scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control, to ensure timely and efficient production of CBD products.
  • Supply Chain Management: Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and packaging components, and optimize inventory levels to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance procedures and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a diverse team of production staff, including supervisors, technicians, and operators, to achieve production targets and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains, and implement innovative solutions to streamline operations, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including FDA regulations, state hemp and cannabis regulations, and OSHA standards, and lead efforts to obtain and maintain relevant certifications and licenses.
  • Safety and Environmental Management: Promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship, implement safety protocols and procedures, and ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in operations management, engineering, business administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the CBD, pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing manufacturing operations and driving process improvements.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Experience with ERP systems, inventory management software, and other manufacturing tools and technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven and results-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
