SUMMARY

Responsible for supporting the implementation of effective recruiting strategies developed to meet the hiring goals of top talent for the organization while ensuring a positive candidate experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prospects job candidates in an area specifically assigned through a variety of sources including but not limited to : sourcing and posting resources, mass communication platforms, leveraging technology and recruitment marketing, social media initiatives, attending career fairs, networking with professional associations and coordinating student interns.
  • Screens candidates for appropriate experience, licensure, hire eligibility and interest levels and coordinates interviews with the appropriate hiring manager or designee.
  • Effectively extends offers of employment in accordance with human resource guidelines.
  • Ensures the recruiting process supports a positive candidate experience.
  • Ensures the Applicant Tracking System is accurately maintained and is utilized to its greatest extent.
  • Supports in the development and implementation of recruiting and recruitment marketing and social media plans.
  • Supports with the responsibility for locating contract staff, as necessary.
  • Supports with responsibility for fostering relations with academic partners and the coordination of student placements and clinical rotations as it relates directly to the recruitment of new graduates.
  • Supports in the development of university / college recruitment marketing and presentations.
  • Assists in building / maintaining the organizations’ reputation by contributing as a professional member of staff while upholding the mission and values.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, and organization policies.
  • Contributes to a positive work team by sharing information, using problem-solving methods and accepting new ideas.
  • Supports and contributes to activities and projects introduced by the Organization.
  • Demonstrates superior customer service through courtesy, consistent follow-up and positive communication.

  • Contributes to the work of committees, workgroups, project management, and other collaborative efforts of the System.
  • Performs other duties as necessary to ensure the success of the System.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Ability to create, edit and manage data from ATS and other resources to analyze and report trends and make recommendations
  • Demonstrate effective negotiation skills
  • Demonstrates critical and strategic thinking skills
  • Creative and self-motivated

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field with two (2) years’ experience
  • Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field with five (5) years’ experience
  • High school diploma with 10 years’ experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effective negotiating skills
  • Demonstrable experience in healthcare industry recruiting
  • Knowledge and effective utilization of applicant tracking and recruitment technology platforms, Workday preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram format. The ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
