Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Publicist who specializes in the entrepreneurial and political sectors. The ideal candidate will bring a robust network of media and political contacts and have a proven track record of securing high-profile exposure for clients. This role involves crafting and promoting a compelling narrative for our CEO’s entrepreneurial ventures and political efforts, aimed at resonating deeply with both investors and the public.

Responsibilities:

• Develop strategic communication plans to enhance the CEO's public profile and promote his vision both within the cannabis industry and in political circles.
• Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and political news outlets.
• Coordinate interviews, speaking engagements, and public appearances for the CEO.
• Manage media inquiries and interview requests, creating detailed briefing materials and talking points.
• Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment between public relations strategies and the company’s overall branding.
• Monitor, analyze, and communicate PR results on a regular basis.
• Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations, specifically within the entrepreneurial and political sectors.
• Extensive network of media and political contacts.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills.
• Strong experience in managing media relations for high-profile individuals.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage sensitive issues.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
