Christwood Senior Living Community is seeking a full time LPN for day shift, 6 am to 6 pm, for our Health Center. 

LPN assists in maintaining a positivephysical, social and psychological environment in accordance with residentneeds and health center philosophy. Providesnursing care according to physician’s orders and in conformance with recognizednursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies. Assists with evaluation of the nursing process and provides input regarding needed or desiredchanges. Supervises daily functions ofthe nursing unit, from employee supervision to delivery of resident care. Assists in the training, supervision, andongoing in-service education of nursing service personnel. Assists in the performance evaluation ofnursing personnel. Maintainsdocumentation which accurately and completely records data pertaining to theresident’s care, condition and treatment. Participates as a member in the interdisciplinary resident careconference in developing a total plan of care and in communicating that plan tonursing staff caring for the resident. Protects the resident, his privacy and his property. Attends in-service and continuing educationprograms to improve knowledge and skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Must possess acurrent Louisiana Practical Nurse License

• Training and Experience: Shall have previous health relatedexperience, preferably in long-term care
