Program Details

12 or 24 Hour Shifts: 24
Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage: Yes, unassigned ER & consults
Hospitalists Required to Perform Circumcisions: No
Hospitalists Needed for First Assist: Yes
First Assist Available to the Hospitalists: Yes
Hospitalists to Backup Midwives: Yes
Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice: No
Backup Available to the Hospitalists: Yes (OB/GYN ED Call)

Hospital Details

NICU Level: IV (94 beds)
Total Beds: 1013
Total Est. Annual Hospital Deliveries: 5400
Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists per shift: 3-4
Estimated daily patient encounters per shift (excludes deliveries): 23-25 (12-15 OBED)
MFM onsite: Yes. Round during day, call at night. Hospitalists do deliveries w/ consults available.
