Excellent job opportunity in a private dental office. Office opens from Tuesday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5: 00 pm. We are not a volume practice and take pride in providing excellent experience to our patients. Looking for an organized, upbeat and passionate candidate for long term. Additional training will be provided as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for each patient
- Take digital X-rays
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following dental procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of treatments
- Follow aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and sterile environment
- Make temporary crowns.

Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Familiarity with dental software Dentrix for scheduling and record-keeping parity with dental software systems.
- Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate care
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
