QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be eligible for Delaware teacher certification in Math
• Multiple years of teaching experience preferred

SALARY: Commensurate with reported time hourly rate of pay

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide researched based reading and math intervention for students scoring below grade level expectations
• Work collaboratively with grade level teachers at the primary level
• Assist with progress monitoring reading and math assessments
• Keep appropriate data to assist with instructional decisions
• Knowledge of research based best practices in math
• Teaches assigned classes using the educational philosophy and policies adopted by the Board of Education.
• Utilizes State and District curriculum guidelines in carrying out teaching assignments.
• Uses available resources, plans and implements a program of study that meets students' needs, interests, and abilities.
• Ability to effectively adhere to, and effectively deliver, the components of the provided math program
• Knowledge of data driven needs based instruction
• Ability to work with multiple grade levels at the secondary level
