We are looking for a Part Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) who is passionate about providing the best care possible for our son who has complex health needs. We currently have kind loving staff but are in need of help to fill in the gaps in our schedule. There are always two staff working with him at a time. The Hiring agency is Pathways of Southwestern PA. The maximum payrate of 22.81 an hour. No experience is necessary, we will train you. Being a germaphobe is a plus!

Shifts are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5 pm.

Weekend shifts are 8:45 AM to 3 PM.

We are looking to fill full and partial shifts one to two days a week.

Job duties

• Be responsible for supervising and ensuring the individual's health and safety at all times
• Support the individual's goals and outcomes as outlined in their Individual Support Plan (ISP)
• Assist with personal care including bathing, brushing teeth and dressing
• Communicate and document information accurately
• Create a safe and healthy environment for the individual
• Perform other assigned duties relevant to the individual

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license/clean driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening.
• Experience working with intellectual disabilities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $22.81 per hour
