This role requires a caring and dedicated individual who is passionate about providing quality care to individuals in their own home. Schedule for this is AS NEEDED, Monday through Friday from 7am to 3pm. Occasional start time at 5:15am. One weekend day a month. Teacher assistants, paraprofessionals, ABA therapists, behavioral technicians, occupational therapy assistants, someone with passion and experience in caregiving and advocating for kids or adolescents, etc. would be a great fit for this position.

Duties:
- Provide in-home care and support to a young adult with autism.
- Provide positive role modeling and engage in age-appropriate activities with the individual. - Incorporate daily living skills learning with tasks throughout the day.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Respect and uphold the rights of the individual, ensuring their privacy and dignity
- Community Outings

Skills:
- Knowledge of different developmental disabilities
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and a compassionate approach to caregiving
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for the individual's privacy
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
