Job Description:

We are currently seeking a part-time caregiver to work with client during the afternoon approx. 12:30-3:30p 1-2x per week in Oxford. Looking for Monday and/or Tuesday afternoons.

We are looking to hire a fun, energetic, patient, organized individual who loves working with Autistic children and children with behaviors. You would be working one on one with a child- Primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited too-

• Spending time with the youth in their home or the community
• Assist youth in building life skills
• Assist youth in building confidence and independence
• Interactive play
• Emotional regulation practice
• Engage in companionship activities and provide emotional support
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients

Positions will be part-time to start, however, additional hours will be available with the willingness to work with multiple clients in local surrounding areas. Schedules are built to ensure the caregiver has a decent schedule.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Starting pay is based on job experience and job duties, range is $15-17 / hour

Ideal candidate:

• Positive, upbeat attitude
• Has a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle and auto insurance
• Able to pass a criminal background check imposed by law
• Must be U.S. citizen or have valid work permit
• First aid and CPR Trained (preferred, but will provide if needed for suitable candidate)
• Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities preferred
