Christian Servants Home Care is Hiring a Personal Care Worker Near Marinette, WI

Christian Servants Home Care is hiring both full-time and part-time Personal Care Workers (PCW) to provide in-home support to our clients throughout Wisconsin. This rewarding career does not require anything more than a willingness to work and compassion to assist our clients. Location(s): Marinette and Peshtigo, Wi

Hours: Full-time & Part-Time PM Shifts available.

Job Summary: Personal Care Workers provide any non-medical needs, respite care, companionship, meal preparation, transportation as well as 24/7 care including housekeeping, activities of daily living, medication reminders and more.

Job Duties:

  • Provide emotional and social support to elderly and/or disabled clients.
  • Respect client confidentiality.
  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed with:
  • Dressing and undressing (clothing should be clean and appropriate for the season)
  • Bathing
  • Personal hygiene (shaving, dental hygiene, nail care, hair care, foot care)
  • Mobility devices (cane, walker, wheelchair, crutches) including monitoring of safe transfer and ambulation techniques
  • Care of ADL devices such as eyeglasses, contact lenses, hearing aids
  • Assist clients with self-administration of medications, including monitoring of medication supplies and documentation
  • Errands that consist of grocery shopping, etc.
  • Completes all applicable documentation related to tasks assigned.
  • Housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning bathroom, bed making and bed changes
  • Prepare and serve meals by following general nutritional guidelines, menus, individual dietary restrictions, needs and preferences.

Requirements:

  • Experience providing care-giving services
  • Must pass background check
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Must possess a reliable vehicle with insurance
  • Must have reliable phone with voicemail
  • Must have email access
  • Must be compassionate
  • Must be reliable & show up on time
