Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated mentors to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their home or the community. As a mentor, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by offering personalized care and ensuring their comfort and well-being. Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to the individual you are working with,
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions
- Monitor individual and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Engage in companionship activities and provide emotional support
- Follow care plans and instructions provided
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients

Requirements:
- Previous experience in mentoring/peer support/caregiving or related fields is preferred but not required
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
- Compassionate and patient nature, with a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to adapt to different client needs and provide personalized care
- Reliable transportation to travel to and from job

Schedule for this position is M, T, F 7am to 3pm. Opportunity for occasional weekend work if desired. Occasional start time at 5:15am.
